World of Tanks Clan Recruitment — FAQ
Frequently asked questions about clan recruitment in World of Tanks and how WOT Recruiter helps to automate it.
Who can invite players to a World of Tanks clan?
Only clan officers with the right roles: Commander, Deputy Commander, Personnel Officer and Recruitment Officer. WOT Recruiter works with the same roles — access is granted by the clan commander in the control panel.
How do I find players for my clan in World of Tanks?
Use the official Recruiting Station, clan portals, or specialized services like WOT Recruiter, which automatically scans players without a clan and builds a list of candidates that match your requirements.
What statistics should I check before inviting a player?
Win rate, average damage, number of battles, recent activity and experience with the tanks your clan needs. A player who has not played for months will most likely leave your clan quickly.
Can I invite several players at once?
The Wargaming portal allows inviting one profile at a time manually. The WOT Recruiter browser extension automates the process: the invitation queue is processed automatically in the background.
Is WOT Recruiter safe to use?
Login is performed via the official OpenID authentication from Wargaming. The service never stores your passwords, and the extension uses only your existing Wargaming session.
Which servers does WOT Recruiter support?
Currently the browser extension works with the EU server (eu.wargaming.net). Player statistics are fetched directly from the official Wargaming API.
How often is the candidate database updated?
Players are scanned around the clock: a player who leaves a clan appears in the candidate list within minutes, and their statistics are always up to date.
Several recruiters work in our clan. Can they use WOT Recruiter together?
Yes. The commander manages roles and grants access only to trusted officers. The service prevents inviting the same player twice, and the full invite history is stored in the control panel.
How much does WOT Recruiter cost?
The basic access is free: you can search players, view statistics and invite candidates. Extended automation and unlimited profile reviews are unlocked with support packages on the Support page. Payments are processed via Ko-fi.
Does WOT Recruiter collect my personal data?
No. The service uses only your Wargaming session and public player statistics. No personal data is collected or stored.
